We are committed to serving the needs of our residents; however vaccine supply is essential to handling all requests. I encourage all Bergen County residents to check our site to register for a vaccination appointment by visiting: https://www.bergencovidvaccine.com/ Please note, this link is only to register for the County of Bergen’s vaccination site located at the Alternative Care Facility on the campus of Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus. This is an ever evolving situation and will continue to provide important information. Help us to share facts, not fear. Help us flatten the curve; stay home.
At this time, I cannot predict when the Borough Hall will open to allow the public into the building on a regular basis. The protocols that we are following are similar to those of neighboring municipalities, as well as, Bergen County and State Offices. We can only hope that as the weather changes, and the vaccine is provided to more people, the containment of this virus will allow us all to return to a more normal means of life. As information is provided by the County and our Board of Health, along with the CDC, we try to make the best determinations possible and keep the public informed.
Below is a list of some important departments and their contact information. You should find this quite helpful.
Our website harringtonparknj.gov has just about everything you may need including general information, contact information and official forms.

From the Desk of Paul Hoelscher:
My purpose in writing today is three-fold.
First, as you probably already know, there has been a major spike in the number of positive COVID-19 tests throughout the United States. Unfortunately, we have experience an increase in Harrington Park, as well. Harrington Park is still at the lower end of the amount of cases per capita in Bergen County.
As a result, I am asking everyone to follow the basic recommendations of our health professionals. They recommend the following:
• Wear a face mask as much as possible
• Practice social distancing of at least 6 feet
• Wash your hands as much as possible
• Avoid large crowds of people
• If you feel ill, stay home and contact your health care provider
Working together we can stabilize our numbers in the days to come. Your cooperation is essential to our success in battling COVID-19.
Finally, while Borough Hall remains closed to the public, all of the Borough staff are available by phone or email. All of our first responders are ready to assist any emergency. During these difficult times, please know your safety and property remain our main priority. May you stay safe and healthy.
