IMPORTANT PROPERTY TAX INFORMATION

We have now added a new feature where our residents can pay taxes online.

Fee for paying taxes online with credit card is 2.95% of the transaction cost, and if you pay by your checking account it will be $1.95.

You can also, mail your tax payments or you can drop it off in drop box at Borough hall. If you require receipt please give us stamped self-addressed envelope, and I will mail it to you or you can go online and print statues of your tax payment.

Please put your PTR forms in our mail box with your phone number. I will be signing off and will call everyone once a week to arrange a time of pick up. PTR dead line to File is October 31, 2023.

 

NJ SENIOR FREEZE/PROPERTY TAX REIMBURSEMENT

The deadline for filing 2022 Form PTR-1 (for first timers – see eligibility requirements here - https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/ptr/eligibility.shtml or PTR-2 is October 31, 2023. 

NJ ANCHOR (formerly the Homestead Rebate Program)

The deadline for filing your ANCHOR benefit application is February 28, 2023. The State will begin paying ANCHOR benefits in the late Spring of 2023. ANCHOR payments will be paid directly to the homeowner in the form of a check or direct deposit. Homeowners who filed the Homestead Benefit application last year may be able to obtain their ID and Pin numbers online. Renters/Tenants do not need an ID and Pin number to file. The ANCHOR call center will have extended hours through February 28, 2023 @ (877) 658-2972.
