Employment Opportunity - Full Time DPW Laborer

The Borough of Harrington Park is seeking to hire a staff member for its Department of Public Works.  The candidate must possess a commercial driver's license (class A preferred) and have some experience in the areas of general maintenance, landscaping, tree work, (including chipping and chain saw operation), snow plowing, equipment operation, mechanics, paving, and working with hand or power tools. Automotive mechanic skills are highly desired and a general knowledge of carpentry, electric, plumbing and welding is beneficial.

The successful candidate must be available to work full time, including covering stand by and emergency work on weekends and holidays and be available to work overtime on leaves in the fall and snow plowing and ice control during the winter.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
