Holly Ciccoricco: A Retrospective
Watercolor paintings, pottery and miniature houses are included in the art show opening June 28 at the Zakin and Cafe Galleries of The Art School at Old Church in Demarest. The exhibit, Holly Ciccoricco: A Retrospective, features artworks by awarded artist and honored teacher Holly Ciccoricco, dating back to her high school years.
 
Holly, a resident of Harrington Park for fifty years, passed away in 2023. She enjoyed drawing and painting with her friends in a group, the Park Painters, which she co-founded, and quilting with friends in the Park Stitchers group, which she also co-founded.
 
Holly was the art teacher at the Alpine Public School for seventeen years, on the faculty of The Art School at Old Church for twenty years, the art director of the Northern Valley Summer Camp for forty years, the children's arts and crafts workshop teacher at the Harrington Park Public Library for fifteen years, and the art enrichment teacher at Harrington Park School, the Valley Program and other schools for many years.
 
The art show runs from June 28th through July 27th. The galleries are open to the public Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and Saturday, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. A reception is scheduled for Sunday, June 30th from 3:00 - 5:30 pm. Admission to the show and reception is free.
