  • Monday-Thursday - 9:00am-4:00pm (closed for lunch from 1:00pm-2:00pm)
  • Friday - 9:00am-2:30pm

To obtain permit applications, make payments or pick up processed permits, contact the Building Department at 201-768-2585.

As of May 2024 - If you are selling or renting your property, a Residential Rental/Resale Certificate Application is required.

As of April 2024 - As per the NJ Dept. of Consumer Affairs (DCA): All inspections must be requested by emailing inspections@harringtonparknj.gov. The subject line must say: Inspection Request Permit #xxx. Include:

  • Property Address
  • Type of Inspection

Please note: Plumbing and Electric inspections (rough and/or final) MUST be requested for approval prior to scheduling any Building and Fire inspections.
